When
I return to South Sudan, as one of the educated woman of South Sudan, I will involve in program that is
focusing on women or girls education and to be a volunteer in status that
encourage girls education by motivating them not only providing them with
material things but by words of hope, I believe if someone is motivated in
doing something they will success, so by motivating them they will
know the important of education in life of a woman; yes is actually truth that
women of South Sudan do not have access for education due to many reasons such
as issues of custom, economic issue and lack of motivation.
I think as a teacher my role is to
motivate them either in groups or individually by pay visit in gathering places
and schools, and give them words of hope and strength and experience that I g although through these
challenges still they have access to education because they have great role to
play in developing a country.

DeleteNalimlim, your idea of motivating girls to school in form of group or individually it is really so powerful. because talking to those girls and listening to their issues is important to understand what are their problems, as a teacher I believe through school and within the society you can do it and this will prevent girls' drop outs.

Also attending social gathering of community is one of the best way of collecting ideas you community have about girls education. This will able you to put in your idea about girls education into their mind. good suggestions.
ReplyDeleteYes, encouragement is so critical, as is providing hope and confidence to young women. Also, working within the communities is critical. Community leaders need to see such strong and educated women as role models too!
